Its getting closer

Close......but no cigar.

I attempted to cycle the West Highland Way on my hard tail on Friday.

All was going well, until the bottom of the Devils Staircase where the weather closed in, total white out. It became bitterly cold, and as I had been riding through the rain since leaving Milngavie at 1am, after just over 13 hours of cycling, I called it a day. I headed on down to the Clachaig Inn at Glencoe for two pints of coke and hot plate of leek and potato soup. Once again beaten by the Scottish Weather.
