It was all going grand until my chain snapped. Sending me hard onto my left side.
A brief slide along the tarmac. Ripped gloves.
The bike sustained a bent lever and a torn saddle. Luckily my Rapha Pro Team Jacket and winter bib longs didn't suffer any abrasion damage.
I've got a sore wrist and road rash.
Ah well, a new chain and a ride doon the Tweed Valley tomorrow it is then.
